gitGood.dev
Interview prep and career leveling for engineers - gamified
The problem
Engineers preparing for interviews bounce between a dozen different tools - LeetCode for coding, Glassdoor for behavioral prompts, separate cert platforms, a resume review service, and someone's unofficial interview notes. There is no single place to practice the whole loop, get honest feedback, and stay in the habit long enough for it to pay off.
Our approach
We designed gitGood.dev around the full interview-prep journey in one place. Coding challenges run in real sandboxes and are auto-graded. Mock interviews and salary negotiation are driven by Claude via Bedrock so users get interactive practice, not static prompts. Daily quests, weekly quests, streaks, and leaderboards turn prep into a habit instead of a cram session.

What shipped
AI mock interviews
Interactive technical and behavioral interviews driven by Claude on AWS Bedrock. Users get live follow-ups and pressure, not a fixed question list.
Auto-graded coding challenges
Browser-based editor with JavaScript and Python runtimes. Submissions execute in per-language Lambda sandboxes against visible + hidden test cases, with points awarded on first successful solve.
Full prep surface, not just coding
Behavioral questions, certification prep guides, a worker-type quiz, role-based learning paths, and human-reviewed resume checks. The whole interview loop lives under one roof.
Gamified habit loop
Daily and weekly quests, streak tracking, skill badges (bronze/silver/gold), and leaderboards. Designed for repeat sessions, not one-shot cramming.
